Distributor Cap & Ignition Rotor Replacement Interval 850 1995

Looking at the service intervals in my 'Haynes' handbook, which is supposed to be the same as the Volvo recommendation, it says:

o Every 36 months or 50000 kilometres:
"Inspect distributor cap, rotor and ignition cables."
o Every 60 months or 75000 kilometres:
"Replace fuel filter."

It doesn't seem to be any hard replacement interval for the ingition stuff.

A problem is that my books uses the metric system and we probably get a discrepancy with the US service intervals which I assume to be every 10K miles as it is every 15K km here in Sweden.

E.g. 50K km is approx. 31069 miles and 75K km ~ 46603 miles.

My guess is that the fuel filter replacement in the US would be every 50K miles - 60K miles seems to long compared to 75K km.

HTH, but I probably just confused things...
