'01 S80 - better reliability than 99 and 00? S80 2001

Has reliability improved with the 01 S80s over the earlier models? I currently own a 98 S70 and an 89 245. I'm seeing quite a few very nice and reasonably priced 01 S80s - would appreciate any comments. (when I bought the S70 3 years ago it was on the consumer reports list of used cars to avoid too, but it has been a great car) Thanks.
