A 2000 or the redesigned 2001? Advice, please V70-XC70

My sister, who is 69, is looking for a late model 2000 GLT. However, I wonder if she wouldn't be better off in a 2001with the additinal side-curtain airbag. I don't know if the 2001 came with the anti-skid dynamic control, but the added cost of stepping up to a 2001 means a base model for her, higher miles and harder bargaining. I know she would really like the 2000 with its light pressure turbo and still classic 850-V-70 look, but is she sacrificing too much by not stepping up to the newer series with its upgraded P-2 platform and braking system? Dick
