Lighting/electrical problems for sure! S60 2002

In the last several years Volvo has taken at least three actions on headlight bulbs.

1. They installed voltage dropping resistance in the wiring to increase the bulb life with just a small dimming affect. This was a "recall" type action.
2. They made light bulbs a warranty item, so except for your lost time and mileage, you should not be paying for these problems on a new car. Are you?
3. When they replace one lamp, they are supposed to replace its twin because they realized that they usually fail in pairs.
