More Power...Stronger Tranny? S80

I have always been both a lover of Volvos and of super sedans. By this I mean cars like the M5, E55 AMG, RS6, and others. I would love to make my S80 T6 quite a bit more powerful. I keep hearing that one should not take the S80 T6 much higher than 300 HP due to the fact that the trans can not handle it.

My question is what if anything can be done to remedy this problem. Can the trans be strengthened? Can it be replaced by another? Are there any other options?

Also is there anything else that would need to be addressed, in addition to the transmission? I would like to get the car up to at least over 350 HP.
