CD Changers compatible with Alpine SC-800 850 1994

Hi there, after browsing Brickboard for an answer to my query, I cant find any definite answer, I'm sure that it has been asked thousands of times before but,

What Alpine CD Changers will work with my factory volvo sc-800 (made by alpine as I understand) I am looking to buy a cheap one on ebay but the only definite changer that works that I can find, apart from the volvo dealer one, is the chm-s630 with an adapter cable. I have seen the following models on ebay and was wondering which worked; chm-s611, chm-s620, chm-s601. Would any of these work with/without an adapter and if so would they be fully functional, as I have read that sometimes you can only get single disc playback, etc.

PS. My 850 has a cable which I am told is the CD changer cable already in the right hand portion of the boot, would I be able to use this or would I still need an adapter cable.

PPS. Also what is the difference apart from the badge between alpine changers and the factory volvo one, £1000 (unfitted) sounds like a hell of a lot to me!

Any help regarding the above would be very much appreciated.
