I had a 98 S70 T5-M and moved into a 00 C70 HPT 5spd coupe....
The C70 defientely has a different suspension feel. It's a lot stiffer, though not necessarily in a bad way. The whole structure of the C70 also feels a lot stiffer, like it was built better. My S70 had 16" and the C70 17" wheels, so this could have a great effect.
As far as drivetrain, they're exactly the same... though the C70 is a bit heavier.
The stereo in the C70 will blow you away, though the S70 wasn't exactly a dog.
The C70 has worse vision out the sides/rear.. but nothing horrible.
It's a MAJOR PITA to get in and out of hte back seat on the C70, especially out of the very easy, very comfy S70. Once you're int eh back of the C, it's quite comfortable and roomy though.
The rear track on the C70 is widened a couple inches as I remember... and the C70 turning radius is definetely larger than the S70 was.
All-in-all, they're very similar, I find myself being able to have alittle more "fun" in my C70 than I did in my S70 though.
The only real differences are the wheels/suspension, and though they are minor, they do make a difference when driving, nothing huge, but noticeable.
And, well, the C70 is gorgeous.
