Mark,
In the interest of being better informed, is your '94 an "early" model. They are identified as without a sunroof and with 6" high headlamps (like the '93).
My '94 has a sunroof and the 5" headlamps (like the following years of 850). Also, when my A/C is switched on, the lamp comes on.
