Rear seatbelt tension. 850

Ok, not somewhere i usually sit, so i haven't noticed this before! But yesterday i did a big drive with another couple of people. Anyway, when I took my turn in the back seat, i noticed the rear seat belt has substantial pressure on it.

When just sitting in the seat normally it feels like you're being pulled back further into the seat. I don't imagine this is normal? What is the likely problem?
