Thanks for the insight.

A question for you and the remote: Do you here a faint click, like the doors are trying to unlock when you use your bad remote? The fact that both mine quit together leads me to believe that it isn't the actual remote, but the receiver, so control device on the car.

This spring, I'll tear into my window switches. Thanks again.
