WATER IN OIL? S40-V40

My daughter's '00 S40 just turned 33,750 miles and I usually do an oil change
not every 7,500 miles, but every 3,750. The car was service by dealer at 30,000
about 6 months ago. Now at 33,750 I had the oil changed and the guy at local
oil change place showed me the oil filler cap with some white spots(lines) He said I had water in the engine...
Is he right? Should I worry about it? The warranty (4 years) just experired...
Tks.
