Brake Lights: What type bulb? V70-XC70

it's an 1156.

Make sure both brake light bulbs are the same manufacture or the bulb monitoring circuit may still turn on the light saying the bulb is out cause of different bulbs being used. Just replace both rear brake light bulbs with the same type.
