Looking at a 850 850

We have a 95 & 96 N/A and both are still excellent: 172K on the 95 & 125K on the 96. We never had problems so far (knocking on wood) with the evap, rear main seal, PNP switch, ABS/TRACS, tranny ect . I replaced on the 95 the AC receiver drier last summer and fixed on the 96, a broken wire connector on the thermal switch on one of the heated seats. I replaced the antenna mast and the engines vacuum hoses on both and fixed the glove box latch on the 95 and that's it.

Be sure to have all the service records for both cars and if you still dont know wich one to choose, I'd recommend the 95 because you'll not need an OBD-II scantool to retrieve the fault codes (nice thing) and besides a couple of other minor technical details, both cars are identical.

Good luck !
