Alignment story may be useful for some 850

Hi all ---

My 850 had been pulling to the left for around a year now. I took it to one shop who made the alignment worse (I went back to see my car on the rack, but only saw two guys toying around with the alignment, no computers!), then took it to Firestone, who said they got it to spec, but it still pulled to the left. I was discouraged, so paid for a "lifetime alignment" at my local Firestone, figuring I could bring it back as many times as needed without having to complain. The guy working there said that the rear right wheel was off and pushing the car to the left. He also said the rear wheel toe is adjustable. Nice! No one ever touched the rear wheels on my 850 during alignment! Didn't know they were adjustable!! Maybe someone else might be helped by this. Car now drives and tracks perfectly straight.

By the way, if you live in Southern California, DO NOT go to the BF Goodrich in Anaheim on the corner of Lincoln and Western. Those guys WILL screw up your car!! The worst service center I have ever seen!! They sent two guys out to do my alignment, wihtout a rack or computer!! I guess they did it just by sight alone.
