Remote door lock receiver on dash 850

I have an 850 without the remote locks. I do have a blank filling the place in the dash where the receiver would normally go. That blank recently came loose and one end stays up. It annoys me so after playing with it I saw there was a wiring harness attached to the plastic cover. Can I assume I will only need to purchase the receiver and attach it and then program the key FOB to have remote door locks? I have this on my wife's V70 and this is something I would like to add if it is that easy.
