PNP Change - Everything fine but...... 850

All went OK changing the PNP except removing the damn wire connector from the holder. A few tips to anyone changing one - break the tabs off per Rich's Bay 13 instructions which I did and the the blue tab you want to move toward the front of the car is at the very back of the holder; actually there's three connectors. What I didn't realize is that when using the needle nose vise grips to pull up the connector, the connector seems to come up 2/3 of the way before having to move the blue tab forward (if anybody has done this, they'll know what I'm talking about). Initially, I kept jamming the small screwdriver in the back thinking I needed to move the blue tab and it wasn't the case. Use WD40 on the connectors and holders.

Now here's the "but" of the installation...... car starts and drives fine (back-up lights OK, ran it through gears etc.) and it seems my starting problems are gone, however, for sh#*s and grins, I tried starting it in neutral and nothing. Not that I ever start it in neutral (actually, this is the second time) but it's strange since I lined everything up (didn't use the alignment tool though)but used two tiny metal rulers to center on the line of the PNP.

I'm curious to see if anybody else has tried to start their cars in neutral after changing the PNP. Not that I'm gonna rip everything apart again to find out what's going on but if anybody has any thoughts I'd appreciate the feedback.

Thanks again to Brickboard and Rich at Bay 13.

Roy
