Blower motor has problems in 'auto' mode S70

The unit does not come on all for up to 30 minutes. The AC button stays in the off position until it decides to come on. If the engine is not warmed up, the AC button should still be on, even though the fan is not blowing. There is a definite problem, perhaps a sensor??
