Flametrap replacement time? 850

When I first bought my 855 it had oil seeping from the oil fill cap, due to excessive crankcase pressure. Bay 13 taught me how to check the flame trap, which was completly clogged. It was also, very, very stuck, i had to drill out the center, and screw a sheet metal screw into the hard plastic, and use carb cleaner to soften it enough to pull the thing out. I buy the plastic trap elements from Volvo, and change them every 10k mile, when i rotate the tires and "look" at things. I do change the oil every 3k replacing the oil filter. So far, no leaks! Best Wishes, Chuck.
