Audio suggestions 850 1996

In terms of compatability the 815/816 is the way to go. It can be
swapped in in under 90 seconds (OK, maybe 2 minutes the first time
you do it). To remove the existing radio you push in on the
two vertical tabs on either side (at the bottom). They will pop out
as handles. Pull them out and radio is out. New unit will have the
same electrical connections. No need to pay an installer for this.

If you get one from eBay make sure you have the code to activate it.
You also want the black bezel.

My 816 does have probelms with CD-rs. To get them to work I use the
silver dye CDs and record them at 1X. If recorded at higher speeds
they won't work.
