Why don't you just do the ratchet thing witht eh PNP sw. Move it from one extreme to the other many ( 20 or more) times to clean it. And then try it again. Interesting that in low humidity areas of the US, there are less PNP [robs that the high humidity areas. I live in Denver....Low humidity.. Not had a prob as yet... 107K miles.. But I do clean( ratchet) it about once a month.
