Cooling System Question S70

Thank you for your info.

I changed the thermostat yesterday and it seemed to help the temp problem. I still have a check engine light on. Does that go away by itself after some driving or do I get it reset by someone?

It cost me $20 to replace the t-stat. I now own a T40 torx bit and a long T40 allen-wrench (part of a set with handle). If anyone knows of a good place to get a 7" long T40 bit, let me know. Also needed is a 6mm allen wrench and a funnel (plus plastic container to catch the fluid). It took about 20-30 min. and was the cleanest tstat replacement I've done.

Thanks!

Now hoepfully the light will go out...
