850 plugs

A number of guys on the 200/700 forum recommend against the use of platinum plugs in those engines. The 2-700 engines apparently were desigined to use the "old" style plug and there is nothing gained by using the more expensive platinum plug. What's the feeling for the 850 engine? Just curious
