OIL IN COOLANT...PROBLEM SOLVED!!! V70-XC70 1998

In a previous post I was seeking information about why I had oil in my coolant expansion tank. My hunch was the oil cooler in the radiator, which was also suggested by Rich from Bay13. I replaced the radiator and flushed that system with Shout (laundry cleaner) to break down and remove as much oil as possible. While I was there I replaced the upper and lower hoses and thermostat. It was a major job and took about 4 hours with the help of my brother and his mechanic bay. Everthing looks good so far. Just wondering if anyone has seen this type of failure with the Volvo radiator?

Steve
