PNP Replacement - Alignment (First to admit getting it wrong ??- Long Message) 850 1995

I too used the directions from Bay 13. It was a great help and I did it without the alignment tool. When I told my mechanic, he was surprised that I got it right without the tool.

Before I took the old PNP off, I marked the entire outline with a magic marker. I made sure to mark the bolts where it's attached to the transmission. I assumed that aligning up the new switch with these marks would give me a better than 70% chance that I would get it right the first time. But, just to be sure, I started the car and shifted in all gears before I installed everything back to its original position.
