Foggy Windows when using heater 850 1995

QUOTE this appears to be a recent and somewhat intermittent problem:

Could it be happening after raining?
I had a similar problem but with another vehicle, it turned out to be rainwater getting into the vehicle, soaking the carpet and then steaming up the windows when the heater was used. Check over the interior floor carpet for damp or wet areas and look for signs of water ingress.
