Wheel lug nuts work loose 850 1993

Been driving bricks for 10 years, had five at once.

Changed wheels on all winter and summer. That's a LOT of lugs to tighten. I do a cursory clean of the lug nuts/studs or lug bolts with WD 40 each time.

I've never had a loose lug nut.

You must have a wheel or rotor problem, I would swap that wheel with the other front. The problem will go with the wheel or stay with the rotor. You can do the same with the lug nuts.

You might ask an experienced tech about your problem, or compose a direct question that mentions 4 lug wheels. This might be why Volvo returned to 5-lug wheels pretty quickly on the 850.

IMHO, 4-lug wheels are right in the same category as putting the window switches in the middle - penny wise and pound foolish!
