Your timing belt should be good until 70,000 mi. If you want piece of mind
go ahead and change it now. Of course change the oil and check all fluids.
One problem area for ALL volvos is the ac. You should be prepared for some
work and or replacement down the road. I've owned several and always had
some problem with the system. The sweds are not known for hot weather so
this is a weak area. Plastic parts are also another area that tends to be somewhat of a problem. Other then that enjoy. Welcome to the family.
