Taking a long trip. Suggestions for preparing the car? V70-XC70 1998

hello-

i hope you enjoy the trip... i think your timing belt should have information- a sticker on it, when it was last changed... add 70,000 miles to that number... mine does, and i saw it recently under the hood... i'm not sure, as i'm new to all of these questions as well... i'd just be sure to have extra water/coolant; oil; power steering fluid; brake fluid; wiper fluid; and yes, check them all prior to starting out on your holiday AND a few times would be ideal on the way to and from when you stop for fuel... it's really for peace of mind (better to fill the coolant if it's getting low than to see the lamp and have the steam come from under the hood, et cetera)...

good luck!
best,
belle
