'01 V70 Turning Radius Problems -- decision time V70-XC70

I've driven several X-5s and I can tell you they turn on a dime compared to the Volvo T-5 I have. I posted a similar question a year ago on the forum and was quoted the same stats. Either the tests are wrong or there is something wrong with my car. I've had a ton of front wheel drive cars and they did not have this problem.

People have referred to "steering stops" before in this forum. I suspect the figure in the test is for a small wheeled base model V70, not a T-5 with the 17's. The wider wheels have required Volvo to screw down the steering stops to prevent rubbing. The R I drove seemed even a little worse although it shows the same wheel size at the T-5 but does have different tires.
