RWD vs FWD 850

I have a '88 240 N/A, a '92 745 N/A and a '98 V70 LPT.

I agree with you, that the FWD 850/70 series are more confortable, nicer looking and more powerful than the RWD, but with the maintenance and care you have put on the 940 I would not sell it or trade it.

I have a teen age son that will be inheriting the 745 with 108K miles, and it will be just fine for him. I know the history and maintenance and the care I put into it. No fast car but reliable and a safe heavy car with ABS and SIPS and drivers side airbag.

I am sure the '96 850 would be a blast to drive, but I am giving you an opinion as a parent, not as a single guy looking for a fast car.

Good luck,
--
