v40 : keep it or leave it? S40-V40 2002

Thanks for posting this man. Hey is your's an automatic or what? What engine do you have in there? Which options package do you have? also how often do you change the oil?

I ask because I am also interested in the 100K hitlist. My wife's car is just turning 90K and warranty is up soon - so far the car has lived a posh dealer maintained lifestyle and I do oil changes often so I am wondering if we should be investing or getting rid of the car.

We also have a VW passat wagon that I have gladly invested in and I get a lot of great advice from my friends on VWVortex - the passat is humming along! So, I am interested to see what you guys say on this one for considering what to do with my wife's car...

** Once that warranty expires does this car get expensive after 100K? **

** Anyone out there with 150K+ on their s40? And what have you done to the car since 100K if anything? **

Thanks guys! yoshboston

PS_ Let me know if you want to see any photos of the car(s)! :)
