Brake Question 850

My '97 850 has had a mushy brake pedal since I bought it about a month ago. Checked the fluid and it was a tad low, so I topped it off; still mushy. Bleeding the brakes alleviates the problem for a while, but the pedal still starts to become soft after a few days of driving. I've bled the brakes twice now. Both times there was only air in the left rear brake. I am correct in assuming that the caliper could be bad?

In what is more than likely a completely unrelated incident, my ABS and TRACS lights came on the other day. It was after about an hour or so freeway drive, right as I was getting off at my destination. I shut the car off and started it again and the lights didn't come on. They haven't come on since. Am I experiencing the early symptoms of the all too common ABS module failure?
