I was hearing this noise in my '96 855M when I would stop or start moving like something rolling around in the door or quarter panel. Well, while the car was on the lift getting the transmission fluid changed I pulled back the mud flap and found this little loose rubber part in the side skirt. Needless to say, the noise is gone. It has part number 9133669 1977 on it. Anyone have any idea what this is? If it belongs somewhere I would like to put it back.
