Brake Question 850

One more question. I have found that there are different master cylinders for cars with and without traction control. I found a decent price on one for my car(w TRACS) from FCP Groton. If--and a big if--I find one really cheap from another supplier but it is specified for cars w/o traction control, will it work for me and simply permanently disable traction control? Or should I stop worrying over a few bucks, suck it up, and get the right one. Only reason I ask is that I have no real need for traction control and the TRACS on the 850 is not the greatest.
