Error code E01 on my CD changer 850

Well let me ask you this. Are you or have you played CDRs or CDRW's? There are a lot of players out there that cannot play these mediums very well. I have a 93 850 and I had the exact same problem. I would create audio cds with CDRs/CDRWs and the changer would sometimes play them, but most of the time the player would seem to jam up. I had to take the changer apart just so I could get my discs back. Sorry to say I don't know if there is a fix.
