1st Generation V70's - High Mileage & Problems V70-XC70

Have a 1998 V70 with 89,000 miles. Bought it "used" from dealer Oct. 1997 with about 6,000 miles on it as a loaner. Have had no real problems with it to date. But, sounds like I'm in the mileage range where "bad things" start to happen.

Would be interested in hearing how many miles other owners have on 1st generation V70's and types of problems I need to start watching for.

I am still on second set of tires. Front brakes have been replaced. Currently have one lamp in radio out and may need to replace the infamous air-pump (check engine light is on and that's the code I'm getting - mechanic has not looked at it yet.) And that's about it so far except for regular services.
