Air Mass Meter S80

I had a Mass Air Flow meter fail about a year ago in my 99 T-6. The Check Engine light came on and strangly my transmission started to slip big time shifting from 3rd to 4th under acceleration. I was afraid I had big time trouble, but once my dealer replaced the MAF meter, the trans shifting was back to normal and I haven't had any trouble with it since.
