Troubles getting Transmission out of Park S80

Hi to all.

Lately my 2001 S80 has intermittantly had episodes where the tranny gets stuck in Park. These episodes are always when I am dropping some kids off, and then try to take the car out of park (yes, with my foot firmly on the brake) and...no dice, car stuck in park. The last time, it finally fixed itself after I stopped the engine, got out and made sure all other doors were closed securely, figuring there may be an interlock that was opened.

Anyone else with this problem? First guess is that there is an intermittant fault in a brake pressure sensor so the safety interlock won't release...but it's easier to ask for your opinions first.....
