driver door lock/window problems S80 2000

I am unable to use the keyless remote to unlock the driver door in the morning, but all other doors will unlock. I am unable to use any of the features on the driver door until it warms up during the day. It appears to begin working while it is warm outside. At night, the buttons on the driver door begin blinking, like something is shorting out in the door and won't work. Any ideas???
