Turbo with a 5-speed? 850

Well I'm thinking of making my 240 an exclusively sunday car...I've been looking at some 850 ads, and it seems that you can't have a turbo and a manual trans....Say it ain't so! I know a non-turbo could smoke my 240, but It's still dissapointing. Anyways, what is the maximum HP of the 5-speed, and what is the best year to find a non-turbo with the most power?
