oil filters S40-V40

I recently replaced my trusty 1989 740 GLE wagon (which is currently for sale if anyone is interested) with a sporty 2001 S40. The old family wagon was great, but this little sedan is even better!
I usually do oil & filter changes myself. Naturally, the dealer doesn't like this and gives me an attitude whenever I go there to buy oil filters. Is there a good place to buy oil filters online? Also, this will be my first oil change for the S40. Is the filter tough to get to? Any "tricks" I should know before I get into this project?
