My '88 245 DL is being bought by my cousin, so I just bought an 854T. Nice car, the steering is taking a while to get used to - some torque steer and lots of power assist. I had a "check engine" light (315) which the dealer charged $311.00 to fix. This motor has too many modern things to go wrong. I feel it will cost a lot to maintain. The 245 engine bay was inviting to me, and most of the problems could be done in my garage, without a scan tool.
