Alpine CD Changer Installation 850

I bought a 97 850 wagon recently & it came with a new Volvo CD changer still in the box. I want to put it in, I am not sure where the best place to install it would be. I was thinking of the glove compartment since it can be locked, but it might get too hot in there. Does anyone have any advice, pics, or information on installing this changer into the car. I have the original radio with the cd controls on it.
