black rubber trim peeling 850

The trim that runs from the drivers side outside mirror over the top of the car to the back window. Its like a black rubber trim thing while its peeling and the silver metal is showing. what to do? How would you replace this strip so it would stay on and what would you get one anyway. I avoid dealers by the way.
