Problems with side mirror??? S80

I have a 2001 S80 and the right side mirror will only let me move the glass in 2 of the 4 positions. The left side mirror works fine. I opened up the switch assembly and it is a circuit borad so that is about where my diagnostic capabilities end. When the toggle swithc is moved it will only move the mirror left and up. The down and right positions do nothing and the motor does not run. I was trying to see how to remove the glass so I could test for current at the connector, but still have not figured out how to do that.
