Installing new headlight assy S40-V40 2001

It was a pain but I changed the driver side unit. Tip of the day - don't bother removing the bumper, it doesn't really help. Make sure you have a swivel ratchet, a u-joint with a 10mm socket, or bend a 10mm crescent to get at the nuts that are blocked by the A/C lines. The access to the 2 screws facing the fenders are blocked by the cornering lights - loosen the vertical clamp screw on the outboard side of the assembly and the cornering lights will "hinge" open like a suicide door to gain access to the mounting screws.
