How to find a good used Volvo with manual transmission?

Manual transmission Volvos are hard to find. They don't appear in my local paper's (LA Times) classified ads or in the local used auto advertizer (Recycler). The local Volvo dealer only has automatics. Ebay has stick shift cars only rarely -- and most of them are far away. Today I found an ad for one at an auction house; when I called they said it sold this morning for more than blue book!

I'm kinda out of ideas. Anybody have suggestions for how to find a good used Volvo with manual transmission in or near Southern California? Other criteria: '95 or newer sedan, nonsmoking previous owner, not a S40. Sunroof would be nice.

Thanks for the help.
