Headlamp bulb replacement S80 2002

I recently replaced a high/low headlamp bulb with an aftermarket bulb. I noticed that light didn't look right after that. Checked the bulb, it is not seating properly, allowing it to move within the reflector. Is it possible that it is the aftermarket bulb, it is the right bulb number, but maybe the bulb housing is slightly smaller? I secured it with the spring, but that doesn't even fit very tight now. Has anybody had this same problem?
