Factory fog lights for the S80 S80

Yes the car is pre-wired, and there are connectors clipped to the frame behind the plastic "blanks". I added the OEM fog lights to my '01 S80. I paid $135 for the "kit" (in 2001) from an online discount parts supplier. The "kit" consists of 2 lamp assemblies, a fuse, a relay, some screws, and an actuator and indicator for the switch. It is easier to fit the components to the headlamp switch module if your remove it. Remove the fuse panel cover at the left end of the instrumant panel, reach behind, and push out the headlamp switch. Then remove the (3 pin) connector.

If you use the factory pre-wiring, you will need a software download at your dealer to ativate the function once installed.
