850 versus 940

Hi guys,
I am new to this site.

Thanks to those that replied to my previous notice with useful advice.
I live in Sydney, Australia where winter driving is not an issue here where it never goes below 50 degrees F at night and 70 degrees F is a cold for a winter day!

I am trying to decide whether to buy a 940 wagon or an 850 wagon.
I am interested in the good and bad points of both cars and if there is anything I should know to look for. Does one or the other have reliability issues or is a money pit?

I can see that the 850 has more power and torque on paper and that the 940 is like the ultimate 240 series with a tighter turning circle etc.

Thanks for your time in advance,

Chris
